Jigawa state pilgrims welfare board has fixes 30th January as deadline for registration of 2025 intending pilgrims.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Dutse by the Director General of the board Alhaji Ahmed Umar labbo.
According to him, the new deadline was as a result of adjustment by National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON of the 2025 calendar directing state pilgrims welfare boards and ggencies to remit all hajj collections by 1st of February 2025.
The DG added that, the Board has so far exhausted over 40% of its hajj seat allocation since the commencement of the registration in September last year.
Labbo therefore called on the intending pilgrims to make deposit for the hajj before the new deadline so as to benefit from the board’s outstanding services.
