The newly appointed General Manager of Jewel FM Gombe, Malam Zubairu Ahmad, has officially assumed duty, calling on staff to remain dedicated and committed in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Addressing staff shortly after taking over, Malam Zubairu emphasized the importance of teamwork, professionalism, and service delivery, noting that the success of the station depends on the collective efforts of everyone.
He expressed readiness to build on the achievements of his predecessor and urged staff to continue upholding the values of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
Meanwhile, the outgoing General Manager, Dr Ubale Danbatta, expressed gratitude to the staff for their support and cooperation throughout his tenure.
He commended their professionalism and commitment to duty, which he said contributed to the station’s growth.
Dr Ubale Danbatta has been redeployed to Pyramid FM Kano, where he will serve as the new General Manager.
The handover marks a smooth leadership transition aimed at enhancing productivity and strengthening public broadcasting in the North-East zone.
