Bauchi State Police Command has announced a scheduled shooting range exercise for recruit constables at Yuli village between 19th and 20th August 2025.
In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, said live ammunition will be discharged within the designated field along the Maiduguri bypass.
The statement advises residents of Yuli and adjoining areas, to keep away from the location during the exercise to ensure public safety.
It appeals for cooperation and appreciates the community’s understanding as the training is part of efforts to enhance police operational capacity.
