The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, has reassured Nigerians of its commitment to due process, accountability and efficient service delivery.

The Commission made the clarification following recent media reports and unverified allegations about its operations.

In a statement signed by its Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Fatima Sanda Usara, NAHCON emphasized that as a public institution established by law, it maintains open cooperation with relevant government agencies, including anti-corruption and regulatory bodies.

It stressed that it will not shield any staff or process found wanting, but appealed to the media and the public to avoid speculations and allow due process to take its course.

NAHCON further disclosed that it remains focused on post-Hajj evaluations, resolving operational challenges and improving future service delivery for Nigerian pilgrims.
