Staff of Radio Nigeria Fombina FM Yola have been empowered with media skills to better manage their operations on social media.
Head of ICT, North-East Zone, Yazid Abubakar, who facilitated the training, encouraged the media team to engage listeners via the social media handles by updating the radio station’s social media pages effectively.
Head of New Media, Radio Nigeria Fombina FM Yola, Aisha Mohammed, appreciated the commitment shown by members of the team and pledged to put into practice the knowledge acquired.
Members of the New Media team were carefully selected from key departments of the radio station to efficiently manage its social media space for better service delivery.
Members of the New Media team are Zubaida Abubakar from the Programs Department, Abdulrazak Inuwa from the Marketing Department, Yalsom Harrison from the News and Current Affairs Department, Umar Gambo from the Information and Communication Technology Department, and Amos Zirra from the Presentation Unit of the radio station.
