The Executive Chairman Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB Alhaji Adamu Duguri has reaffirmed commitment to supporting the new Commissioner Education Dr Haji Lawal Rimin Zayam in advancing education across the state.
A statement by the Information and Public Relations Officer of the ministry of education Jalaludeen Usman says Alhaji Adamu Duguri stated this when he led board members and management on a congratulatory visit to the new Commissioner in his office.
The statement quotes the SUBEB Executive Chairman reaffirming the board’s unwavering commitment to supporting the commissioner’s efforts in advancing education across the state.
In his response, the State Commissioner of Education Dr. Haji Lawal Rimin Zayam expressed gratitude for the gesture and emphasized the importance of collaboration towards achieving educational excellence.
Dr Rimin Zayam pledged to work closely with the board in ensuring that education in the state meets global standards.
“We must not fail His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, for trusting me with this role. I will do everything possible to ensure Bauchi’s education meets global standards”, He emphasises.
According to the statement, the meeting underscores the shared dedication of various leadership strata in the state to revitalizing the education sector for sustainable development.
