The 13th Sarkin Pali, Alhaji Ahmad Dauda Muhammad has coronated the Vice Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Ɓalewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba as the 1st Makama Babba of Pali, alongside nineteen other title holders.
Addressing the newly coronated traditional title holders, Alhaji Ahmad Dauda Muhammad called on them to use their various positions and wealth of experience to bring about the needed development in the palace.
He noted the contributions of the 1st Makama Babba, Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba to the palace of Pali and environs and urged him to maintain the momentum.
Speaking on behalf of the newly coronated title holders, Professor Ibrahim Garba expressed determination to keep the flag flying and to bring about positive development as well as serve as worthy ambassadors of the palace.
He expressed appreciation to friends, family and well wishers for making it to the coronation ceremony, assuring to live to their expectations.
In separate remarks, the Registrar, ATBU Bauchi, Alhaji Kabiru Garba Aminu, former Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee ATBUTH Bauchi, Dr Sa’idu Kadas, and an inlaw to the Vice Chancellor, Sa’idu Baƙo Halidu expressed gratitude to Sarkin Pali, Alhaji Ahmad Dauda Muhammad for the honour done to them, assuring him of fruitful advices to the celebrants particularly the Vice Chancellor of ATBU Bauchi.
The event has in attendance family friends and well wishers including Professors, Doctors and other staff of the ATBU Bauchi.
