The Bauchi State Government has expressed appreciation to the Al-Basar International Foundation for its humanitarian efforts in providing eye care services to residents of the state.
Governor Bala Mohammed conveyed the appreciation during a courtesy visit by the foundation’s management team, led by its Secretary General Professor Adel Al Rushood at the Government House in Bauchi.
Governor Mohammed acknowledged the impact of the foundation’s annual eye care outreach in addressing eye-related diseases and pledged his administration’s support to expand the initiative.
He also commended the Almuhibbah Foundation for collaborating effectively with Al-Basar to assist less privileged individuals in accessing eye care services.
In his remarks, Professor Adel Al Rushood stated that the foundation had incorporated the latest technology to enhance its services noting that during the second quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, the foundation had extended its outreach programmes to reach more beneficiaries across the state.
Professor Al Rushood emphasized the importance of sustaining the partnership between Al-Basar, the Bauchi State Government, and the Almuhibbah Foundation to ensure efficient and impactful service delivery to those in need.
