The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State has conducted its state congress ahead of the party’s national convention.
Speaking at the event held in Damaturu, Governor Mai Mala Buni, commended members of the party for their unity and commitment to strengthening the party.
He said the exercise was part of preparations for the national convention scheduled for March 27th to 28th, 2026, in Abuja.
According to the Chairman of the APC State Electoral Committee, Dr. Muttaka Rabe, the officials of the state executive council emerged through a consensus process.
Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka was re-elected as State Chairman, Alhaji Abbani Gambo secretary, Sa’idu Baba, as treasurer, Umar Yawudima, to serve as financial secretary, and Mohammed Musa Gulani, as Youth leader.
Others are Alhaji Ibrahim Daushe, publicity secretary and Alhaji Babangida Jajere to serve as auditor.
