New Permanent Secretary Takes Helm at Bauchi Budget Ministry

Staff of Bauchi state ministry of budget, economic planning and multilateral coordination have been tasked to rededicate themselves in discharging their duties for effective service delivery.

The newly appointed permanent secretary in the ministry Ibrahim Ahmed Rufa’i gave the indication while taking over the mantle of leadership at the conference hall of the ministry.

Ibrahim Ahmed Rufa’i said it is only through hard work dedication to official responsibilities and the fear of God the needed development could be achieved.

While appreciating Governor Bala Mohammed for finding him worthy for the appointment, he solicited the support and cooperation of all the members of staff to enable him consolidate on the success recorded by his predecessors.

Earlier, the outgone Permanent secretary,Jibrin Mohammed Fanti highlighted some of the initiatives introduced in his tenure to include seeking approval for a one year PGD course in economic planning and development in Sa’adu Zungur University Gadau to equip some staff of the ministry with the requisite knowledge in the budget sector.
