Ag ZD Hails FRCN DG for Upgrading Radio Nigeria Facilities

The Director General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Dr. Mohammed Bulama, has been commended for infrastructural interventions FRCN Stations across North East.

The Zonal Director, FRCN North East Zone North-East, Dahiru Garba Mohammed, gave the commendation while inspecting ongoing renovation work and installation of new broadcast equipment at Fombina FM Yola.

Alhaji Dahiru Garba expressed satisfaction with the level of work, noting that the improvements would provide staff with a more conducive working environment while keeping the station ahead in the broadcast landscape.

He also pointed out that radio stations in the North-East are performing well, largely due to solar installations, which have brought significant stability to on-air operations across the six states in the zone, noting that staff are working tirelessly to deliver quality content to listeners.

The Zonal Director expressed gratitude to the Director General for the numerous interventions, which he said have significantly boosted the operational efficiency of the stations.

He urged staff of the Zone to rededicate themselves to serving the people and promoting the FRCN brand across North East.

Also speaking, the General Manager of Radio Nigeria, Fombina FM, Yola, Mallam Mohammed Babayo Asha, appreciated the Director General for improving the station’s standards, stating that the interventions have placed the station in a competitive status with others in Adamawa State.

The interventions from the FRCN Headquarters include transmitters, consoles, arthen system , air conditioners as well as general renovation at Fombina FM Yola, Globe FM Bauchi, Jewel FM Gombe and Peace FM Maiduguri, among others.
