The Coalition of Jere Youths and Students Association have unanimously called on Honourable Muhammad Bashir to come out and contest for Member House of Assembly Jere State Constituency.
They made the call at an event organised by the Jere APC card carrying Members.Youths and Student’s clubs and associations, Stakeholders and Party Stalwarts at the Multi Purpose Hall of the Collage Agric Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital.
Speaking on behalf of the Jere Youth and Students, President Jere Youth and Student association Comrade Usman Mohammed Jauro said they have resolved to endorse Honourable Muhammad Bashir to contest for Member House of Assembly Jere Constituency due to his track record of assisting Youths and Students of Jere by offering Scholarship and study grant for Youth and Students of the area which some of the beneficiaries have testified at the event especially those in higher institutions.
They described him as a Person’ who is always very close to his People and is eager to make interventions for the challenges of the vulnerable ones of the Jere Communities long before this time.
One of the close ally of Muhammad Bashir, Mohammed Umar Shuwa commended all those who endorse him for the bold step taken, and assured that they have already answered to the call and that they agreed to via for the slated seat.
Mohammed Umar Shuwa explained that honourable Mohammad Bashir sacrifices for the cause of Jere People could not be over emphasised, and that the endorsement will serves as a challenge for him which he will try and answer for his People’s call.
One of the Participant at the event, Ambassador Sadiq Abubakar said honourable Mohammad Bashir’s commitment for his People had been a symbol of empathy he was known for, and will continue to touch his People’s life if given mandate ahead.
Speaking at the event, honourable Mohammad Bashir said words could not describe how he was elated by the calibre of People coming out in mass to endorse him, saying the call will remain as a challenge to him which he already made his mind to buy both nomination and expression of interest forms under the Platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).
He reiterated his commitment to Jere People adding that the humanitarian gesture is his hobby, but determine to sustain and increase the volume especially after the endorsement.
