KACRAN Calls for Stronger Harmony Between Herders, Farmers

The National President of the Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria, KACRAN, Hon. Khalil Muhammad Bello, has reaffirmed the association’s commitment to promoting peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence among herders, farmers, and Nigerians at large.

Bello stated this during the celebration of the seventh anniversary of Kulen Allah held in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

He said the association, which was officially registered on the 17th of February 2017, has recorded remarkable achievements within seven years of its existence, gaining recognition both nationally and internationally.

The KACRAN President explained that the association was established to strengthen peaceful relationships between cattle rearers and farmers, describing both groups as partners in progress.

According to him, peace remains the foundation of national development, stressing that Nigeria is currently facing serious security challenges affecting many parts of the country, particularly the northern region.

Khalil Muhammad Bello noted that KACRAN continues to work closely with government institutions, traditional rulers, security agencies, and the media in pursuit of peace and national unity.

He also acknowledged the role of journalists in nation-building, describing the media as powerful partners in promoting stability and social harmony.

The KACRAN President further disclosed that, in collaboration with the North East Development Commission, L-PRESS and other development partners, the association has executed several projects aimed at improving the welfare of herders and supporting national development.

He appealed to Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence regardless of religion, tribe, or background, emphasizing that Kulen Allah is open to everyone who believes in peace and unity.
