PBAT DOOR-TO-DOOR MOVEMENT SHUTS DOWN BAUCHI, DISTRIBUTES 32 CAMPAIGN VEHICLES

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement yesterday made a remarkable impression in Bauchi State as its Founder and Convener, Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, through his representative, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Ebimorbowei Pondi, led the National Leadership’s distribution of 32 branded campaign vehicles to strengthen grassroots mobilisation for the re-election bid of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The event, which also featured the official inauguration of the Bauchi State structure, was led by the Movement’s Founder and Convener, Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, represented by High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Ebimorbowei Pondi.

The successful event received significant support from Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti, a member of the National Board of Trustees and one of the Conveners of the Movement, whose contributions have helped strengthen the platform in Bauchi State.

As a son of the soil, his involvement underscored his commitment to grassroots political engagement and the advancement of the Movement’s objectives. The distribution of the 32 vehicles is expected to enhance door-to-door campaigns and mobilisation across the state’s 20 Local Government Areas.

The occasion attracted a massive turnout of APC stakeholders, party stalwarts, political leaders, religious figures, women and youth groups, as well as other support organisations. Among the dignitaries present was the APC gubernatorial candidate in Bauchi State, His Excellency, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, SAN, alongside representatives of various political support groups and coordinators.

The large gathering demonstrated the level of organisation and mobilisation achieved by the Movement, while its leadership expressed confidence in expanding engagement with communities across Bauchi State ahead of 2027.

Speaking on the significance of the occasion, the Bauchi State Coordinator, Hon. Muhammad Auwal Adamu (Durbin Ajili, Fagachin Bula), appreciated the National Leadership, Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti, APC leaders, stakeholders, security agencies, media organisations and supporters for their contributions to the event’s success. He assured the National Leadership that the 32 vehicles would be judiciously deployed to strengthen grassroots mobilisation across the state.

The Movement reaffirmed its commitment to working with the APC and other stakeholders in pursuit of its national target of mobilising 10 million votes for President Tinubu and the APC in the 2027 general elections.
