Bauchi Govt has invested huge resources aim at providing qualitative health care

Conference 2023 Fellows of the Nigeria chapter West African College of Physicians WACP have converged on Bauchi State to deliberate on the challenges bedevilling the health sector in Nigeria and suggest the way forward.

The 47th annual general and scientific conference with the theme health related SDGs in Nigeria the progress so far.

Declaring the conference open Governor Bala Muhammad appreciated the college for choosing Bauchi as the venue for this year’s event and the participants to come out with positive recommendations aim at addressing the challenges bedevilling the health care system in Nigeria.

Bala Muhammad promised to continue collaboration with the college in the areas of train and retraining of Doctors from the state for optimum service delivery.

Represented by his Deputy Muhammad Auwal Jatau the Governor said his administration has invested alot of resources aim at providing qualitative health care service to the people across the state.

Earlier the chairman Nigeria West African College of Physicians Dr Jaremiah Aboi Madaki said the college has responsibilities and objectives aim at promoting standard of the practice as well as give advised to government were necessary to improve in the health sector.
