APC National Chairman Inaugurates Yobe East Senatorial Bye-Election Campaign in Damaturu

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has flagged off the Yobe East Senatorial bye-election campaign.

Flagging off the campaign at the “August 27th Stadium” in Damaturu, Dr. Ganduje assured of the party’s national working committee’s support of ensuring the success of its candidate Musa Mustapha Coolas, who was nominated as the partys flag bearer at the forthcoming February 3rd bye-election to replace Senator Ibrahim Geidam who was appointed minister of Police Affairs by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Party Chairman who commended the people of the state for supporting APC at all times, urged them to maintain the history by coming out en-masse to vote for its Candidate in the forthcoming polls.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman Nigerian Progressive Governors Forum and Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodima, said he was in Yobe State to show solidarity to Governor Mai Mala Buni, for his efforts in building the Party.

He lauded the effort of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for managing the security situation of the country and called on the people of Yobe East to vote for an APC candidate to increase the number of APC senators which will give the president more support to continue with the good work he has started.

In his vote of thanks, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni called on the People of the Yobe East (Zone A) to vote for the rightful candidate.

Governor Buni stated that voting for the ruling party’s Candidate is the right option to encourage more developmental projects in the State.
