ATBU Dispells Circular on Social Media as Fake.

The Management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University ATBU Bauchi has described as completely fake and criminally intended, a circular making rounds on some social media platforms titled “Miscreant Students of ATBU”.
In a statement, the Director Information and Public Relations of the institution Alhaji Zailani Bappah says the University Authority could not have written to the public in such bad and immature language and manner.
The statement draws the attention of all students of the University and other stakeholders that the said “circular” is completely fake and criminally intended by its perpetrators.
It further reminds all students, parents, guardians and other stakeholders that the one week closure of the University was intended to avert the breakdown of law and order on the two campuses.
Radio Nigeria learnt that a number of students had earlier protested the killing of a 500-level Geology student of the institution by some assailants, leading to the closure of the university for a week.
