Bauchi State government has commended USAID Breakthrough action Nigeria for strengthening it’s health care system.
The Majority leader Bauchi State House of Assembly Alh Sale Hodi stated this at the quarterly review meeting of Social Behavioural Change members mentees graduation lesson learned and the successes recorded and experience sharing.
Sale Hodi said the State Assembly will always partner organizations that can brings positive changes in improving the health status of the people by enacting relevant laws and bills.
In his remarks the Co Chairman, former Grand Khadi Abdullah Marafa thanked the SBC Social Behavioural Change team members and the Advocacy group for their resilience and enlightening the public on the 17 priority areas that are expected to bring Behavioural Change in the health sector.
While addressing the participants the State Co ordinator USAID Breakthrough action Nigeria Usman Inuwa said they have strengthen the health care system in the state by engaging the policy makers and urged the state Assembly to include the group in budget plan of the primary health.
Usman said over five thousand volunteer health workers are working in several primary health Care Centers as their contribution.
The coordinator added that the Bauchi State primary health care development agency has adopted the group to enlighten the public on pendamics.
