BPSR advises States, Local Government to Embrace Public Service Reforms.

The Director General Bureau of Public Service Reforms Alhaji Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi has urged states and local governments to embrace public service reform to fast track service delivery of vital services to the citizens.

Speaking during a visit to Gombe State, the Director General said the direction of President Bola Tinubu is to get all state governments to create their own Bureau to enhance service delivery.

Alhaji Arabi said already Four States of Gombe, Kaduna, Lagos and Ogun, have already keyed into the reform which has translated into excellent services to the people.

Alhaji Arabi said the more the government digitize the process of governance the more it reduces cost, fights corruption and creates transparency for the citizens to track the activities of government.

He commended the Gombe State Government for establishing the bureau and keying into the reforms by providing better amenities and opportunities for the people of the state.

Earlier, the Gombe State Director General Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Abubakar Hassan said the state government has already started some of the reforms and will continue to build on it to have a much stronger service delivery to the citizens.

The DG appreciated the visit and pledged to adopt the digitization of governance for the benefit of the state.
