Easter Celebration: Gombe NSCDC Deploys 800 Personnel

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC Gombe State Command says it has deployed 800 personnel to beef up security across the State for a peaceful Easter celebration.
This is contained in a statement issued to newsmen in Gombe by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Buhari Saad,
According to the statement, the state Commandant, Muhammad Bello Muazu assured the people of the State of adequate security before, during and after the Easter celebration.
The statement explained that the Officers and Men deployed were drawn from the Operations department, Counter terrorism Unit (CTU) Disaster management Unit, Intelligence and Investigations Department, Chemical Biological Radioactive Nuclear and Energy (CBRNE), Critical National Assets and Infrastructure protection Department, Anti Vandal Unit and Female Squad of the Command’s State Headquarters.
It added that the state commandant charged the personnel to be professional in the discharge of their duties, with high sense of responsibility and utmost diligence.
CC M.B Muazu, further wished the people of Gombe State and the Christian faithful a happy Easter Celebration.
