GSMJ to synergize with the NSCDC to stamp out crimes in the state

In its effort to Stamp out crimes and all forms of criminalities, the Gombe state Attorney General, has pledged his commitment to support the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command.

Public Relations Officer
Gombe State Command, BUHARI SA’AD, and made available to Radio Nigeria.

According to the statement, the Attorney General who is also the Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Zubairu Mohammed Umar, made the pledged when he paid a courtesy call to the State Commandant of Corps CC Muhammad Bello Muazu at the Gombe Command Headquarters.

Barrister Zubairu Mohammed Umar noted that the NSCDC is doing very well in the State and promised a robust synergy to enable the Corps to execute its mandate effectively in line with the provisions of the administration of the criminal system.

He commended the State Commandant for being proactive and professional since he assumed office, which enhanced the security of the State, a development he attributed to his sterling leadership qualities which made the NSCDC more visible in terms of maintaining peace and security.

The statement added that Commandant MB Muazu said “It is “SINE QUA NON” for the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps and the Gombe state Ministry of Justice to collaborate closely to ensure speedy dispensation of justice.

The Commandant assured that under his watch, no suspect would be denied his legal rights within the context of the law and promised to always seek the consent and permission of the Court where necessary.
