Kebbi First Lady Empowers 550 Women

In continuation of celebration of the International Women Day, wife of the Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasir Idris, has empowered 550 women in Mungadi village of Maiyama local government Area of the state.
The wife of the Governor who disbursed N16.5million to 550 women, said each beneficiary will go home with N30,000 and was meant for them to become self reliance.
She said, this was part of effort of the present administration on poverty alleviation in Kebbi State especially among the women.
The beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Governor’s wife for the gesture and prayed to Almighty Allah to bless her saying, the assistance would make them to engage in an economic activities for them to become self reliance.
