Lawmaker Flags off free eye surgery for 1,500 patients.

The member representing Tarauni constituency, Alhaji Kabiru Dahiru Sule, has flagged off free community eye care,treatment and medical services at Tarauni primary health care,for 1,500 patients.

Speaking to Radio Nigeria,96 year Amina Usman and 62 year Mustapha Jibril described, the free eye care as a development that would go a long way in mitigating societal problems.

Mustapha Jibril pointed out that, as a retired civil servant, he has been suffering from blurred vision, but could not afford to pay for surgery.

In his remarks,member representing Tarauni local government area, Alhaji Kabiru Dahiru Sule pointed out that, the medical outreach was the first of it’s kind, in the history of the community.

He explained that, as a representative of the people,he would continue to initiate viable programs, aimed at uplifting health care services.

The lawmaker noted that, Hotoro primary health, is undergoing renovation as well as building of block of classrooms, at Dan Tsinke Darmanawa,as part of his constituency projects.

He appealed to the beneficiaries to inform others to enable them utilize the opportunity,saying that, another set of beneficiaries would under go dental and maxillofacial surgery, circumcision,among others.

The state governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, represented by the speaker Kano state house of assembly,Alhaji Ismail Jibril Falgore described the lawmaker,as a dedicated public servant, who is passionate about his people.

He commended the initiative, and urged others to compliment government’s, efforts by contributing their quota, to the development of the society.

The speaker stressed that,the state government under the leadership of Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, has recorded tremendous achievements in terms of health, education and other relevant sectors.

Radio Nigeria reports that,1,500 patients would benefit from, free cataract surgery,medical glasses and eye treatment.
