An International humanitarian service organisation, Médecins Sans Frontières has donated two Toyota Hilux vehicles to Bauchi state ministry of health.

The donation is aimed at strengthening the state ministry’s monitoring and supportive supervision mechanism for effective healthcare service delivery.

In an interview with Radio Nigeria shortly after handing the vehicles’ key the state Commissioner for Health, the Head of Nigerian Médecins Sans Frontières Switzerland, Mr Adam Ousmane N’gari called on the ministry to utilize the vehicles judiciously.

Mr Adam N’gari said the organization was ready for continued partnership with the state government towards improving livelihood of the citizens.

Responding, the state Commissioner for Health, Dr Adamu Sambo appreciated Médecins Sans Frontières for the donation and assured judicious utilization of the vehicle.

Dr Sambo who noted the contributions of the humanitarian organisation to the state, assured to sustain the collaboration with a view to achieving the desired result.
