Nigerians want Govt to Address Insecurity -Emir Bayero Tells First Lady

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has requested the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu to Personally relay the message of his Palace to the president on the need to curtail the Manace of insecurity bedevilling the development of the Nation.

Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero Disclosed this while the receiving the first Lady Olumi Tinubu who paid him a courtesy visit at his place.

The first Lady was in Kano to commission Faculty of Law at a Private University, Maryam Abacha American University Kano which was named after her.

Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero said the current insecurity that is currently affecting different parts of the country is worrisome,hence effective measures needed to be implored ,geared towards addressing the challenge.

“Nigerians are currently facing hardship, hunger and Starvation, Government have to be abreast in addressing the situation”

“Although we have several means of communicating to the Government on our needs and request, but your way and means is the surest way that you would tell the President the actual happenings in the Country, “

Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, who spoke in Hausa and his message were translated, said, “the hunger and Starvation, though didn’t start with this Government, but the situation has becomes more alarming and needs urgent attention”.

Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Commended the first Lady Oluremi Tinubu for her care on the wellbeing and welfare of the Children and advised her to actualize her Renewed Hope Initiative Pet Program.

Expressing worries about Girl Child Education asked her to look at the issue critically and advised her to make sure that the issues is been tackle without any problems.

Responding,the first Lady Oluremi Tinubu the Administration of Presidential Bola Ahmad Tinubu was doing everything possible in ensuring all the challenges were being fully addressed.

She appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the current situation,saying soon all these challenges will be a thing of the past.

The First Lady Applauded the warm reception accorded to her in Kano,and reassured the commitment of her husband’s administration in providing succor to the current hardship Nigerians were facing .

The first Lady was accompanied by the Deputy Senate President ,Senator Barau Jibril, Senior Government officials and other stakeholders.
