NSCDC Gombe deploys 780 personnel ahead of Christmas, new year

Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command has deployed Seven Hundred and Eighty (780 ) personnel, Officers and Men across the State to ensure a hitch-free festive period.
This is made known by the Gombe state Civil Defense Public Relations Officer, SC Buhari Saad, in a statement.
According to the statement, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu has directed Area Commanders, Divisional Officers and Tactical Commanders drawn from the counter terrorism unit CTU, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Chemic,al Biological Radiological Nuclear, and counter-terrorism) to ensure adequate personnel is deployed at all vulnerable points across the State and also to safeguard all places of worship, critical infrastructures, designated markets, and motor parks including recreational centers.
The statement explains that the NSCDC personnel is to provide security before, during, and after Christmas, and during the New Year celebrations.
CC MB Muazu appealed to the members of the general public to be moderate in their celebration.
The statement added that the commandant equally, assured members of the public that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC ) Gombe State Command would be polite and civil but firm in ensuring security and safety of lives and property.
