Ramadan: Foundation Distribute 25000 bag of Rice to Less Privilege in Bauchi State.

Bauchi State Muslim Coalition against COVID-19 in collaboration with Dangote Foundation has distribute 25000 bags of rice, 10kg size as Ramadan Palliative to the Less privilege and Vulnerable groups in the State.
Speaking during the Flagg Off Ceremony the Emir of Bauchi Dr Rilwanu Suleman Adamu Commended Dangote Foundation for the gesture and appeal for the sustainance.
His Royal Highness Rilwanu Suleman Adamu said the foodstuff would go along way in alleviating deficulties by the benefiting Households.
Dr Rilwanu Suleman Adamu who was represented by the District Head of Bauchi, Chiroman Bauchi Nuru Adamu Jumba appeal for the judicious distribution of the foodstuff to the most needed members of the society.
“Actually at the beginning of Ramadan we were scared of the situation, a lot of people don’t have what to breakfast with, but Alhamdulillah donation keep on coming it has really ease people Challenges”
The Emir of Bauchi use the Medium to appeal to Dangote Foundation to consider given scholarship to Bauchi indigene to study in either Islamic or western education Institutions.
Earlier the Chairman Bauchi State Muslim Coalition against COVID-19, Professor Salisu Shehu said the Coalition use it existing register in distributing the rice to the less privilege across the 20 Local government areas in the State.
Professor Salisu Shehu who was represented by the Coalition Vice Chairman Dr Alkali Muhammad said already distribution has commence in all the 20 Local government areas without any reports of rancour.
“The Coalition was formed during lockdown after the outbreak of Covid 19 Pandemic to source for food to people, since then we established a data of people who are in need of this kind of support. The Coalition has demonstrate it’s capacity in handling distribution of this nature we hope Dangote Foundation would continue to partner with Us in this regard”
Professor Salisu Shehu Commended the State Ministry for Local government and Chieftaincy affairs for it’s support in the distribution process.
On his part the Representative of Dangote Foundation Sani Suleman, said the Foundation has distributed one Million bags of Rice 10kg Size across the Country, in addition to other humanitarian services.
Some of the beneficiaries Muhammad Emanuel and Khadija Musa appreciate the donors for the gesture and assured to use the food to feed their families.
