Respect Culture, beliefs of Your Host Communities – Gov Yusuf Charge Corps Members

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has Charged the Batch B Stream 2 corps members of 2023 to respect the norms, values and religion of their host communities , with aim of having a peaceful nation.

The governor stated this during the closing ceremony of the 2023 Batch B stream 2 held at the permanent orientation camp kusalla, karaye local government Kano.

Represented by a director from the state ministry of youth development Hajiya Umma Dallatu reassured the commitment of his administration in providing all the needed support In ensuring the success of NYSC scheme in the state.

He noted that his administration will continue to recognize, the strength and vision of our youths.

“Let me also assure you that this administration will work with security agencies to guarantee your safety during the service year. On our part, the State Government will continue to provide the enabling environment for you to discharge your responsibilities and reward those of you who excel during the service year. “

In his remark the NYSC coordinator in Kano Malam Suleiman Andy Ibrahim said the Orientation course is a fundamental aspect of the NYSC programme meant to prepare corps members for the one year national service.

He noted that the corps members has been posted to various sectors , especially Education, Health and Agriculture.

The Coordination warned the Corps Members Against Night Journey and unauthorized trips.

The ceremony was graced by senior government officials and other stakeholders.
