Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state has inaugurated an underpass bridge for pedestrian road-crossing at Customs flyover.
The project was constructed around the famous Gamboru market in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
Governor Zulum while commissioning the project said construction of the underpass was due to risks involved with pedestrian crossing of the highway.
Commissioner for Works Alhaji Mustapha Gubio said the underpass will ease hardship faced residents while crossing the bridge.
The Governor in 2019 inaugurated the first flyover in Custom area and roads and over 700 physical projects.
