The Tumfure Compensation Committee commends Governor Yahaya for his 100% Payment Review.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has launched the payment of Six Hundred million naira as Compensation to property owners affected by the construction of a road network in Tumfure within the Gombe metropolis.

Speaking during the launching ceremony, the Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to enhancing the infrastructural, social, and economic well-being of the people by providing basic essential amenities to the people.

The Governor decried the inability of previous administrations in the state to provide essential amenities to the communities, emphasizing his moral obligation to serve all the people regardless of their political affiliation.

According to him, the road project would cover over Eleven kilometres in both the northern and southern parts of the Tumfure area, saying that the completion period of the project is Nine months.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on the Compensation Payment Muhammad Gambo Magaji commended Governor Inuwa Yahaya for reviewing the compensation payment by one hundred percent and assured that his committee would ensure justice for all the affected proper owners.

The Chairman of the Committee who doubles as Commissioner of Finance, lauded the effort of the Governor for his decisive leadership and political will towards ensuring that the vast majority of communities in the state are connected with road networks.
