Babamaji Assumes Office As DG BICT.

The new Director General of the Bauchi State Bureau for Information and Communication Technology BICT has been requested to facilitate the establishment of ICT directorate in all MDA’s in the state
Similarly, he has been requested to facilitate the empathy draft of ICT policy of the bureau.
The overseeing Director General Alhaji Babayo Munkaila stated this during the handing over ceremony of affairs of the bureau to the new Director General in his office.
He explained that when actualized it would help in creating, maintaining as well running the affairs of the bureau to greater heights and to address the looming vacancy in the bureau.
Alhaji Babayo Munkaila said staff of the bureau are looking forward to seeing the new DG to use his wealth of experience to turn the fortune of the bureau to greater height.
Responding, the new Director General Bureau for Information and Communication Technology BICT Bauchi Alhaji Hayyatu Baba Maaji who expressed gratitude to Allah for witnessing the day thakned Governor Bala Muhammad for giving him such opportunity to serve in that capacity to contribute his quota towards the development of the state.
Alhaji Hayyatu Baba Maaji thanked the staff for the warm reception accorded him and promised his resolve to bring new strategies and road map for reformation of the bureau before the end of his tenure.
HW explained that Governor Bala Muhammad has passion for ICT and will immensely continue to contribute to the sector.
