ATBU Students Honour Immediate Past VC, Professor Abdulazeez

The achievements recorded within the five years stewardship of the immediate past Vice Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, Professor Muhammadu Ahmad Abdulazeez will forever be remembered.
Acting Vice Chancellor of ATBU, Professor Sani Usman Kunya stated this at a Public Lecture, Magazine Launch and Award Presentation Ceremony in honour of the Professor Abdulazeez, organized by the Final Year Students of the University’s Faculty of Science, held at Gubi Campus, Bauchi.
Professor Sani Kunya said it shows boldness, focus and doggedness of the immediate past Vice Chancellor to move more offices and faculties to the new campus at Gubi, without which many projects executed there during his tenure would not have seen the lights of the day.
He described Professor Abdulazeez as dedicated, honest, humble and patient, arguing that any person who worked with him woud testify to the stated attributes.
The Chairman Final Year Students Committee, Sulaiman Ahmad Fanty said the event was organized to appreciate the celebrant for the good things he has done for the development of the ATBU, and wished him well in his future endeavors.
On his part, the Celebrant, Professor Muhammadu Ahmad Abdulazeez, appreciated the organizers for the honour done him and wished his predecessor successful delivery of the assignment bestowed on him.
Our Correspondent reports that the event which was attended by principal officers and students of the University, witnessed two paper presentations, launching of Magazine and presentation of Award.
