Adamawa state gov’t to Remodel Yola South Market

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has Urged traders of Yola market to cooperate with the state government as it plans to remodel the market.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri stated this when he visited Yola town market which was engulfed by fire last week.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Said, as the leader of the state, he visited the market to commiserate with traders over the fire incident which claimed all the shops in the market.
The governor urged them to be comforted noting that the constituted committee will assess and report all the losses incurred as a result of the fire incident.
“If you cooperate with Government, in the next one month Government will begin rebuilding process of the market to a modern day standard”
Governor Fintiri assured them that with their cooperation, government is prepared to remodel the market.
The governor said the reason for voting his administration into power is to listen to the plight of the people and it will ensure it deliver on that mandate.
Earlier in their remarks, the chairman of Gamzaki traders union Yola South, Ali Kachalla and the Sarkin Kasuwa, Malam Umaru thanked the governor for the visit and appreciated him for the assistance he has been rendering to the traders whenever calamity befell them.
They therefore called on the governor to fast track the remodelling of the market and assured him of their total support.
