Athletics Association Advocates Training For Game Masters In Gombe State

The Chairman, Gombe State Athletics Association, Dr Ahmad Shu’aibu Gara advocates allocation of a portion of the Ministry of Education’s budget to organize a workshop for the School Game Masters in the state.
Dr Ahmad Gara who made the call during the opening ceremony of a Two-day Training of Trainees for Gombe Local Government Primary School Game Masters, emphasized that providing them with the required skills would play a significant role in revitalizing sporting activities in primary and secondary schools.
According to him such workshops would provide students with the opportunity to acquire basic skills to fully participate in sports.
Dr. Shuaibu Gara who urged the trainees to be focused during the training, assured them of best experience with competent resource persons leading the workshop.
The Chairman oof the association commended the organizing committee for the excellent work and urged it to redouble efforts to succeed in the forthcoming Gombe State Athletics Championship.
Malam Abubakar Baba, the Executive Secretary of Gombe Local Education Authority, expressed his support and cooperation for the Athletics Championship, which is being held for the first time in Gombe State.
The initiative is aimed at enhancing sporting activities in schools by equipping Game Masters with the necessary training and skills, ultimately benefiting the students and promoting sports in Gombe State.
