Gov Bala Flags off more Road Projects at T/Balewa Toro

Bauchi State Government says the move to construct rural road network linking communities along the corridors of Boi, Gambar, Sara, Marti and Lere in Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa Local Government Areas was to improve security and economic activities in the area.
The State Governor Bala Mohammed stated this at the Ground Breaking Ceremony of twenty nine kilometers project held at Lere District of Tafawa Balewa Local Government.
Speaking at the occasion, Governor Bala Mohammed promised to execute similar project across the state under Rural Agricultural and Mobility Project RAMP, a Work Bank Assisted Programme.
In a relater development, the Governor has inaugurated four forty point two kilometers road project from Geljaule to Lame District of Toro Local Government Area.
According to him, the project which would cost fourteen point two billion naira was in fulfilment of the promises made during electioneering campaign.
He therefore charged the State Ministry of Works and Transport to ensure the contractors adhere to the timeframe and project specification.
