Schools Resumption: Pupils and Students in Bauchi observe partial COVID-19 Safety Protocols.

As schools resume academic activities in Bauchi State, pupils and students have partially observed the basic COVID-19 safety protocols.

Similarly, apart from sanitation exercise conducted by some schools during resumption day, social distancing, washing of hands and temperature checks were strictly observed.

These are part of things observed by Radio Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi
during an inspection to some selected schools by the State Universal Basic Education Board.

Speaking shortly after the exercise, the Executive Chairman of the board Abubakar Surunbai Sheikh Dahiru who expressed satisfaction with the level of turnout, urged school managers to ensure strict compliance with the protocol to safeguard the health of the children.

Abubakar Surunbai who charged parents to ensure their children attend school regularly, assured of sustained monitoring towards effective teaching and learning.

Also Speaking the Acting Education Secretary Bauchi local government Aminu Shehu who disclosed that children were sent home in schools were fumigation did not take place, promised continued supervision to ensure compliance.

Schools visited included Games Village junior secondary school, Baba sidi, Kofar Fada, Muhammadu Jahun two, Garba Muhammad Noma and Tudun Salmanu Primary schools.

Meanwhile, the exercise is holding simultaneously across the twenty local government areas of the state.
