BAUCHI STATE GOVERNMENT PLAN RELOCATION OF ARMY BARRACKS FROM STATE CAPITAL.

BAUCHI state government has assured commitment to protect the interest of communities resident within army barracks
The state commissioner ministry of of lands and survey professor Adamu Ahmad made this known when he granted audience to traditional rulers of the communication ties in his office
Professor Adamu Ahmad explain that the state government is proposing relocation of the barracks to a much more convenient location
He said relocating the barracks would also pave way for the development of the state capital
“Beyond the relocation of those villages within the barracks His excellence has a much more comprehensive idea about how the relationship between the army and state can be strengthen”
The commissioner reaffirm that in an event the relocation plan of the barracks is not actualized the affected communities would be relocated to appropriate place
Professor Adamu Ahmad emphasis that the process has reached advance stage
The commissioner commended the Nigeria Army for maintaining civil military relations in the state
Earlier the village head of miri malam samaila inuwa assured that the traditional rulers in the area would continue to support governments efforts in finding lasting solutions to the problem
Samila inuwa use medium to commend the emir of Bauchi Dr Rilwanu Sulemanu Adamu for his concern to the communities
Speaking on behalf of the concern people of the communities Barrister Ashiru Husaini urged government to ensure provision of critical infrastructure to the communities when relocated
Barrister Ashiru appreciate the effort of governor Bala Muhammad for taking measures aim at resolving the issues amicably
The communities living within the barracks are Magama Rugan Gambo ,Guru Kandamu ,Rafin Sanyi ,Burum and Shadawanka.
