TC Operation Hadin Kai decorates newly promoted senior officers

The Theatre Commander Joint Taskforce Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Gold Chibuisi has charged the newly promoted senior officers in Theatre to provide strategic solution to myriad of security challenges affecting parts of the country. 

General Chibuisi gave the charge at the investiture ceremony of five Nigerian Army officers promoted from the rank of Colonel to Brigedier General and three other officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Immigration and Correctional Services at the officers mess Maimalari Cantonment, Maiduguri. 

He urged them to exemplify humility, empathy and patience particularly to their subordinates to achieve operational goals.

“Despite all that you have achieved, you have to understand that you should be approachable, if you are not humble people can’t reach you, and if people can’t reach you, you will not know what their problems are let alone be able to address them ” General Chibuisi said.

The Theatre Commander said said their promotion is based on their discipline, commitment and dedication to duty in the Theatre, urging them to sustain the tempo.

Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Brigedeir General Ayokunle Owolabi appreciated the Theatre Commander and other sector commanders for their strategic guidance. 

He pledged their commitment to addressing the contemporary security threats affecting different parts of the country. 

The ceremony was attended by the General Officer Commanding GOC Seven Division, Air Component Commander operation Hadin Kai, component commanders, families and friends.
