Yobe State R.E.B.Vows to Partner With Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM

The Yobe State Rural Electrification Board, R.E.B, has assured its commitment to work in partnership with Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM.
The General Manager,(GM), R.E.B. Umara Mustapha Goniri, gave the assurance when the members of the management staff of the Sunshine FM paid a courtesy visit to his office in Damaturu.
Receiving the delegation, GM, R.E.B. explained that the management of the Board would do everything possible within its capacity to ensure total support to the Radio Station.
He stated that the Yobe State Government under the able leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni will be giving equal treatment to Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM like other media organizations in the state because of its maximum benefits to Yobeans.
Speaking on the power situation in the state, Mustapha Goniri revealed that the R.E.B will ensure the upgrade of the source of energy to the Radio station by connecting it with the 33KVA line.
He further called on the management of Sunshine FM to design a programme that has a direct bearing on all the state government activities.
Earlier in a speech the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM, Dahiru Mohammed Sani, said their visit to the R.E.B is a familiarization and to also build synergy between the two agencies.
He pointed out that working in collaboration with the Rural Electrification Board will help to overcome the power challenges bedeviling the station.
Mohammed Sani said the FM station will come out with a special programme that will create more awareness by showing people the importance of living in peace with one another.
He further announced the dedication of 30-minute weekly programmes to R.E.B. to enlighten the public on the government’s achievements through the Board.
