Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has expressed his willingness to collaborate with Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to restore the country’s lost glory.
He made this known after a closed-door meeting with Mr. Peter Obi at the Government House in Bauchi.
Bala Mohammed emphasized that the worsening social and economic conditions in Nigeria require collective efforts, transcending political party lines.
Commending Peter Obi for prioritizing national interest over partisan politics, Mohammed described him as a key stakeholder in Nigeria’s political landscape.
When asked about the possibility of an alliance between the PDP and Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi stated that the meeting only focused on discussions about Nigeria’s future.
He criticized the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for failing to tackle insecurity, poverty, and other pressing economic challenges.
