Nigeria Armed Forces Call for Collaboration to Enhance National Security

The Nigeria Armed Forces have emphasized the need for collaborative efforts among sister agencies to effective service delivery in the security sector.

The Commander of the 3 Brigade Nigerian Army, Bukavu Barracks,Kano Brigadier General Ahmad Muhammad Tukur, disclosed this during the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Juma’at prayer held in Kano on January 10, 2025.

General Tukur who paid tribute to the fallen heroes who lost their lives while protecting Nigeria’s territorial integrity said Nigerians Should not relent in praying for the repose of the departed fallen Heroes.

He stressed that their sacrifices should never be in vain, highlighting the importance of unity and cooperation among the country’s security agencies.

In his remarks the Imam Central Mosque, Bukavu Barracks Kano Major Sabiu Muhammad Yusuf emphasized that security is everybody’s responsibility.

During his sermon, the Imam quoted Quranic verses and prophetic traditions to drive home the message of security as a collective responsibility.

The prayer session was attended by high-ranking officials, including AIG Zone 1 Ahmad Ammani and CP Kano Command Salman Dogo Garba. Squadron Leader Abubakar Imam of the Nigeria Navy Logistics College led the prayers.
