The Newly posted Kano Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Bakori, has vowed to work with utmost sincerity to enhance the security of lives and properties.
CP Bakori disclosed this while addressing journalist at the commands Headquarters Bompai Kano .
CP Bakori, who recently assumed duty as the 47th Commissioner of Police in the state, said among his priorities include Addressing Thuggery and Crime.
CP Bakori identified thuggery, fadan daban, mobile snatching, and drug abuse among youths as major concerns.
He pledged to collaborate with sister agencies to achieve desired goals,saying the command will not relent in organizing In-House Training To enhance the effectiveness of police personnel,with a view to enhance maximum Security.
” The Commands plans to conduct in-house training. This will equip officers with the necessary skills to curb all forms of crime.”
The new Commissioner emphasized the importance of community policing, aiming to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the public.
CP Bakori’s appointment follows the promotion of his predecessor to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG). With his wealth of experience and commitment to enhancing security, Kano residents can expect a safer and more secure environment under his leadership.
