Governor Bala Muhammad has approved the recruitment of 10 thousand civil servants across Ministries, Departments and Agencies to enhance performance in the State.
The State Head of the Civil Service, Muhammad Sani Umar who started this during a visit to the Chairman Civil Service Commission Dr Ibrahim Muhammad said already a recruitment portal has been developed for the recruitment exercise.
Muhammad Sani Umar said the recruitment portal has been developed to ensure transparency, equity and fairness as well as the recruitment of qualified personnel during the exercise.
He said the aim of the visit to the Commission was to present the portal for the members and other critical stakeholders for them to give advice and input towards effective implementation of the portal.
While commending the State’s Information and Communication Technology ICT unit developing the portal within shortage period of time the Head of the Civil Service enjoined all critical stakeholders to support the recruitment process to succeed.
Muhammad Sani Umar expressed optimism that as soon as the processes have been completed the recruitment will commence in earnest for the development of the state’s workforce as Governor Bala Muhammad is on top of the situation.
Responding the Chairman Civil Service Commission Dr Ibrahim Muhammad who commended the Office of the Head of Civil Service for the innovation pledged to support the process to succeed.
