TCI-Devcoms has reinforced its dedication to enhancing the Childbirth spacing awareness campaign in Yobe
This commitment was reaffirmed by the Chairman TCI-Devcoms of the Yobe State Family Planning Media Focal Group, Mustapha Musa, during a review meeting in Damaturu, the state capital.
The chairman explained that the review meeting aims to discuss the areas of challenges encountered by the members during last year’s advocacy to some communities and to look at ways of addressing them while developing the 2025 strategic work plan.
He also encouraged members of the team to always work in collaboration with the Community and Religious leaders at all times.
Mr Musa explained that bringing the community and the religious leaders closer will positively impact the campaign.
As part of the strategic plan, the Chairman announced the nomination of Hauwa Hassan of Yobe Television as Vice Chairman, and Ahmad Abba of the News Agency of Nigeria to serve as Public Relations Officer of the childbirth spacing media campaign team.
