MAP Project 2027 Endorses Professor Muhammad Ali Pate for Bauchi Governorship

A youth group, the Muhammad Ali Pate (MAP) Project 2027, has expressed confidence that the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, possesses the leadership qualities required to lead Bauchi State to greater heights.

The Director-General of the group, Mustapha Ibrahim, made this known during a news conference held in Bauchi metropolis.

He called on citizens of the state, regardless of political affiliation, to join what he described as a transformative movement.

According to Ibrahim, Professor Pate has the expertise, international recognition, and connections necessary to bring about the development long desired by the people of Bauchi if given the opportunity to govern.

“The journey ahead requires collective effort. Therefore, we call upon all citizens of Bauchi State, irrespective of political affiliations, to join us in this transformative movement. Your support is essential,” he said.

Ibrahim urged the public to support Professor Pate’s aspiration, adding that civic engagement and electoral participation would be crucial as the group strives to usher in an era of unprecedented growth and progress.

He further stated that the MAP Project’s mission is to identify and support visionary leadership that can steer the state towards a future of prosperity, unity, and inclusive development.

The DG MAP project said following extensive deliberations and consultations with stakeholders across Bauchi State, the group has formally endorsed Professor Muhammad Ali Pate as its sole candidate for the 2027 governorship election.

“Today, we proudly endorse Professor Muhammad Ali Pate as our candidate for the governorship of Bauchi State in the upcoming 2027 elections,” Ibrahim declared.

Also speaking at the event, Deputy Director-General of the MAP Project, Abdurrahman Shu’aibu, highlighted Professor Pate’s achievements, describing them as remarkable and wide-ranging.

“Professor Pate’s exemplary career and unwavering dedication to public service make him the ideal leader for our state. His journey is a testament to his commitment to the well-being of our people,” Shu’aibu said.

The Deputy DG of the MAP Project, commended Professor Pate’s numerous interventions in the state, including the sponsorship of free medical outreaches, provision of scholarships, and facilitation of the Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH) Azare and the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Misau, among others.

The group reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising grassroots support and raising awareness about Professor Pate’s vision for Bauchi State.
