As Nigerian pilgrims prepare to arrive in Makkah for the 2025 Hajj, advance delegations from Bauchi State have met with officials of Mashariq Al Dhahabia Company for Pilgrims Services to fine tune arrangements for the smooth reception of pilgrims in the Holy City of Makkah.
The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris who disclosed this during a Hausa language program, Sakon Hukumar Alhazai stated that the first set of Bauchi contingents would soon proceed from Madinah to Makkah.
Correspondent Mubarak Mahmood, who monitored the program, reports that the first, second and third flights have transported over 1,000 pilgrims from Bauchi to Madinah for this year’s Hajj exercise.
Imam Abdurrahman noted that the first group has successfully completed their visitation and prayers in Madinah saying that preparations are now underway to immediately convey the next set of pilgrims to Makkah.
He assured that all pilgrims will receive their Nusuk Cards before proceeding to Makkah, in line with strict measures by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah which the Card contains vital personal details of each pilgrim.
The Executive Secretary also urged pilgrims to be vigilant and safeguard their Nusuk Cards, revealing that one pilgrim from the state recently lost his e-passport, emphasized the need for all pilgrims to exercise extra caution with their travel documents.
