The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is pleased to announce the successful airlifted over 24,000 Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within the first week of the 2025 Hajj operations.
The Commission’s Principal Information Officer, Malam Shafil Mohammed disclosed this achievement on NAHCON’s Media Platforms.
According to him, a total of 61 flights have been operated since the flag-off of the inaugural flight on May 9, 2025, by Vice President Kashim Shettima in Owerri, Imo State.
The smooth commencement of the airlift signifies a major milestone in Nigeria’s 2025 Hajj preparations.
NAHCON reiterates its commitment to ensuring a seamless, safe and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience for all intending pilgrims.
The Commission appreciates the cooperation of all stakeholders involved and remains dedicated to upholding the highest standards in service delivery throughout the Hajj operations.
