The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has announced that a total of over 25,000 Nigerian pilgrims have been successfully transported from Madina to Makkah with their Nusuk cards.

The spokesperson for NAHCON’s Madina Office, Alhaji Abdulkadri Oloyin, disclosed this during an interview with journalists in Madina.

He emphasized that the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has mandated the use of Nusuk cards for all pilgrims participating in the 2025 Hajj.

According to him the Nusuk card serves as a means of easy identification for genuine pilgrims and is essential for gaining access to the holy sites in Makkah.

He confirmed that no Nigerian pilgrim has left Madina for Makkah without possessing a Nusuk card and that NAHCON has already collected a total of 25,075 cards.
