Yobe State Government is set to host a town hall meeting, providing citizens with an opportunity to learn about government activities and engage with elected officials.
Special Adviser to the state Governor, Mai Mala Buni on Radio, Television, and Digital Media, Dr. Ibrahim Yabani, made this announcement during a media briefing in Damaturu.
Scheduled for May 29, 2025, the town hall meeting aims to facilitate direct engagement between officials and stakeholders, discussing issues that affect both parties.
According to Dr. Yabani, the meeting will serve as a platform for officials to share information about community projects and policy initiatives, while also gathering feedback to inform problem-solving.
The Special Adviser pointed out that during the meeting, Governor Buni will engage in a direct conversation with the public, showcasing the state government’s achievements over the past six years of his administration.
Dr Yabani added that the Governor will also address questions from the public that need clarification on key issues.
