The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has passed into law a bill for a law to enact nasarawa broadcasting service and for other matters connected therewith.
The Speaker of the house Dr. Danladi Jatau announced the passage of the bill into law during the house proceedings held in lafia.
The Speaker said that the bill, if finally assented to, would boost the station via effective service delivery.
He said that the bill has made provision for the Governor to appoint Director General as head of the station, General Manager and Deputy General Manager for both lafia and Keffi stations respectively.
The Speaker directed the clerk of the house to produce a clean copy of the law and communicate to Governor Abdullahi Sule for his further action.
The House unanimously passed the bill into third reading.
